Sergio Marín, co-creator of Netux, the technology company dedicated to developing technological solutions for the healthcare sector, told La Nube about how this solution helps to monitor patients.
"Netux is a technology company from here in Colombia. It develops technological solutions with sensors that are connected to the cloud, sensors that monitor patients' medical variables," he said .

With Netux it is not necessary for a patient to be accompanied by a doctor or nurse for 24 hours, as the sensors can measure oxygenation, blood pressure, heart rate, among other variables. In the event of any anomaly, an alert is sent in the cloud.
"There may be variables that are transmitted every 15, 5 minutes, some less frequently (...) The activation of the emergency is timely because we have the ability for the person using our sensors to connect to the internet and transmit the information. Then, on the other side, from the internet platform, from the cloud platform, we have an intelligent engine that allows us to identify when any of these parameters or the combination of several parameters is outside a threshold and indicates that this patient needs to be monitored", he added.

For people who use Netux, according to Marín, they do not have to worry about the security of their data, as it comes with encrypted data, coupled with high security in the cloud.
"The APIs are mechanisms of the technological system and we expose the data of the APIs so that other technological software can be integrated and for security purposes, with authentication and secure tops, they can capture the data and set up the operating systems in each institution's own software," he added .
