Netux is a venture a healthtech startup that develops technology solutions with internet-connected sensors and cloud-based software that help increase safety, efficiency and sustainability in the operations of clinics, hospitals, insurers and government.
It was founded by Sergio Marín and has several solutions that seek to optimize the medical care medical care. Among them, Mi Paciente and Mi Monitor stand out.
The first is a cloud-based IoT solution that operates in a telemedicine scheme to remotely monitor patients' medical variables, such as heart rate, oxygen saturation, blood pressure and blood glucose, in real time.
In this way, says Marín, coverage is expanded, costs are reduced and the timeliness of patient care is improved.
"The My Patient solution is designed to remotely monitor chronic patients who are at home, avoiding hospitalization, for diseases such as heart failure, diabetes, hypertension, COPD, among others. This system reduces re-hospitalizations and enables a very efficient use of healthcare resources," said the CEO and founder.
On the other hand, the Mi Monitor solution is a system that also uses wireless sensors connected to the Internet and cloud-based software to enable real-time tracking and traceability of assets and medical supplies, vaccines and medicines.
With this technology, Netux allows IPS and health secretariats to guarantee traceability of the vaccine cold chain throughout the entire care process, from transportation, storage, to its application. A solution that is very useful now that Colombia is about to begin the vaccination process against covid-19.
